All Are Welcome

The primary mission of the Enfield Republican Town Committee is to recruit and elect Republicans to all town, state and national positions. We work with the state Republican party and grassroots organizations to identify and train successful, civic minded individuals to run for, and win, elective office.

I am a Republican Because...

In addition to elections, we promote the vision and values of the Republican Party and we are dedicated to working to make Enfield a great place to live. With common sense solutions, we work to protect individual freedoms and provide a better quality of life for all of Connecticut.

Our main goal is to seek, encourage and support qualified Republicans to run for office; to conduct Party caucuses; to organize and direct general election campaigns; to recommend qualified Republicans for appointive offices; to study and recommend improvements in local government; to study and support or oppose State legislation concerning Enfield; to sponsor and encourage constructive Party activities; and to administer party funds in the town.

Meetings are held on the 2nd Thursday of each month at 7:00 PM in Town Hall.

Tkacz Named Enfield's Republican of the Year

ENFIELD – Bob Tkacz, an active member of the GOP Town Committee for more than a decade, and a current member of the Elections Redistricting board and Demographic Study Group has been named Republican of the Year.

Republican Town Chairwoman Mary Ann Turner said today that Tkacz was selected for the honor based on his willingness to tackle hard issues facing the party and the community. "He has been willing to step up and take action, rather than being a 'Monday morning quarterback,'" Turner said.

She added that Tkacz, "Participates on many boards and commissions. More than once he has taken a stand that may have been counter to other beliefs, but he has made us all think, and sometimes rethink issues facing our town."
